Mark 11:12 The next day as they were leaving Bethany, Jesus was hungry.

Let us never forget Jesus came to be with us as a human being, just like us, but nothing like us!

We really do need to stop and study the life of Jesus more so we can understand how special the bond is between God and humans!

Humans can do human things. God can do anything. But through Christ we are enabled to do so much more than we can physically think about and do!

Trust in Christ and believe He will carry out the promises He has promised to us!

Mark 10:25 It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for someone who is rich to enter the kingdom of God.’

How often have you seen comic pictures of a camel trying to get through the eye of an needle in relation to this verse?

The Eye of the Needle was a small hole in the Jerusalem wall which allowed people to come and go through the wall but which was small enough to be blocked very easily if required.

A camel would have to be trained to kneel and hobble through!

How much training are you willing to go through in order to get into the safety of Heaven?

Mark 10:17 As Jesus started on his way, a man ran up to him and fell on his knees before him. ‘Good teacher,’ he asked, ‘what must I do to inherit eternal life?’

When was the last time you were able to go to a church service? Has this been stopping you from your normal worship pattern?

When this man came and begged to know how to gain eternal life it was not as a submission to God but more searching for a contract he could fulfil!

Has your Christian life been more of a contract fulfilment than a relationship?

We need to stop making our Christian lives a pattern to follow and begin to release it is a way of living in every aspect of life!

Matthew 14:31 Immediately Jesus reached out his hand and caught him. ‘You of little faith,’ he said, ‘why did you doubt?’

How many times have you looked back on things and wondered why you doubted in the first place?

Can you remember facing a difficult task, doubting, having fear only to put it all behind you when you realised you could actually do it after all?

Jesus is calling us to do things which we may not have thought about. He is asking us to do things by trusting in Him.

Not just in part, but fully and without fear.
