Psalm 119:62 At midnight I rise to give you thanks for your righteous laws.
When do you stop to pray? Is it only when the going gets too tough?
Do you wait until you are in church or at home before praying?
Why not stop and pray as soon as you know you need to – why wait!
Daniel 1:15 At the end of the ten days they looked healthier and better nourished than any of the young men who ate the royal food.
When Daniel and the others went to serve the king, they refused the royal food and asked for water and vegetables instead.
Now I’m sure the royal food would have been delicious and probably full of fat and other delicacies…
But we do not have to have what all the famous people have to live a good life. Sometimes the simple things make for better lives!
Psalm 95:2 Let us come before him with thanksgiving and extol him with music and song.
How do you approach God? Do you wait until you have sinned and fallen from grace?
Or do you go to Him with thanksgiving and praise whenever possible?
God would rather see you in good light than in dark places!
1 Samuel 2:2 There is no one holy like the Lord; there is no one besides you; there is no Rock like our God.
Hannah had no children for the longest time until she promised God she would dedicate her baby to God if she could have one.
When Samuel was born, she dedicated him to God as promised.
Her prayers before were for strength and for a baby. Her prayers afterward were for praise and love for her amazing God!
