Exodus 9:27 Then Pharaoh summoned Moses and Aaron. “This time I have sinned,” he said to them. “The Lord is in the right, and I and my people are in the wrong.

Did you really mean what you just said? Did you really mean it?

Far too often we blurt out stuff and then regret it afterward because we know in our hearts we don’t mean it – but after the words have already come out, it is a bit late!

God wants us to stop and think about what we say and not just shout out things in the heat of the moment.

Everything He did for us was calculated and deliberate – try following Jesus’ example…

Matthew 27:4 “I have sinned,” he said, “for I have betrayed innocent blood.” “What is that to us?” they replied. “That’s your responsibility.”

What you get from people and what you get from God are two different things entirely! But as Christians we need to stop acting like other people and start acting more like Christ!

Judas tried to stop what he had done wrong by returning the bride and saying that Jesus was innocent; it was men who chose not to believe the truth and wanted their own way instead.

Try to take a step back from situations in your life and make a difference to the way others see the world by being more like Christ today!

Matthew 26:75 Then Peter remembered the word Jesus had spoken: “Before the rooster crows, you will disown me three times.” And he went outside and wept bitterly.

What do you do when things go wrong? If you have not been taught anything, then it’s anyone’s guess!

But when we have been exposed to God’s Word and read our bibles, we are going to remember some of those things we have read.

I guess the real test comes down to – will things have to go wrong before we listen to what we have heard, or do step out and try do things right before they go wrong?

John 21:17 The third time he said to him, “Simon son of John, do you love me?” Peter was hurt because Jesus asked him the third time, “Do you love me?” He said, “Lord, you know all things; you know that I love you.” Jesus said, “Feed my sheep.

What is your reaction when God continue to ask you something? Do you turn round and get angry at Him, or do you stop and think what He is trying to achieve?

Far too often we react to things in our lives, and sadly, we react to God’s Word too.

What we should be doing, instead, is stopping for a short while and thinking about what God is trying to get from us.

He does know what is best – so it is best to stop and listen!
