Nehemiah 2:5  and I answered the king, ‘If it pleases the king and if your servant has found favour in his sight, let him send me to the city in Judah where my ancestors are buried so that I can rebuild it.’

I was told on many occasions by my Grandmother that if I did not ask I would not receive…

And told on many occasion not to ask such things!

God will always listen to your prayers and when they are coming from your heart, He is willing to answer!

Zechariah 8:21  and the inhabitants of one city will go to another and say, “Let us go at once to entreat the Lord and seek the Lord Almighty. I myself am going.”

Do you shy away from showing people you love God? Do you hide the fact you are a Christian?

God has given us a choice to follow Him, or not – it  is our choice to make.

Allow people to see you have made the choice to love God so they will one day be encouraged to do the same...

Zechariah 8:4  This is what the Lord Almighty says: ‘Once again men and women of ripe old age will sit in the streets of Jerusalem, each of them with cane in hand because of their age.

If a city is safe enough for old people to gather in the open without feeling endangered, I believe it is very safe.

But who looks after these old people… the people of the city!

Who takes care of the children who want to play in the streets… the people of the city!

We are the people of Christ’s church. We need to look after all people!
