Psalm 9:9: Then will the Lord be a refuge for the oppressed, a refuge in the time of trouble.
We all love a good action hero movie where an action hero saves the person who is in desperate need - that is the way we live and it is one of our ideals in this world.
This all stems from people helping others and we can see this happening throughout the ages - just as we can see tyrants doing things against the people.
We have a choice as to whether we go down the tyrant route or the helpful hero route; and we all know which one will help the most people and make the most people happier!
Jesus stepped up and helped people on every occasion it was asked of him. Yes he went away for rests, he answered people in ways they did not realise and in ways which they may not have wanted.
But he always did things for the greater good of the person he was helping.
