After so many failed attempts at getting back close to God, I think I have finally turned the corner again - though the road ahead is still long and difficult.
God can use us in whatever circumstance we are in. I have learned this from my time in hospital back in 2019, to the visits in and out of hospital since then, through the diagnosis of Diabetes and now getting to the age where I should be thinking of retiring!
The more I have to do with God and his church, the more I realise just how much he has been trying to guide me and keep me safe over the years. I look back at the many close calls I have had in life and the lives of my parents and family. We have been blessed in many ways, but none more so than when we are in church seeking God.
The more we seek him the more we realise this and the more willing we are to share our lives with him and for him. I have no problem doing what I do for God's glory though some around me wonder why! But I feel the happier I am with God the more they will be able to see thins and think about what they have in life - or do not have.
We are a living example for Christ. We are living because of him. We should be living to the fullest for him now too!
