Psalm 1:1 Blessed is the one who does not walk in step with the wicked or stand in the way that sinners take or sit in the company of mockers,

Is there a difference between how people should act in the Old Testament as opposed to the New Testament?

God’s Word has not changed. It remains what we need to come to know Him and also how we should behave as followers of God.

God will always bless those who follow His will in their lives. He is Just and has promised us He will look out for us!

Do something God approves of today!

Psalm 31:24 Be strong and take heart, all you who hope in the Lord.

God has given us many promises and has made sure we see how we can depend on those promises!

He wants us to have faith in the promises which are still to be fulfilled because we have seen how the promises of old have come true already.

He gave us hope and have supported that hope through actions.

Take a step forward and show God how you appreciate His promises!

Matthew 23:13 Woe to you, teachers of the law and Pharisees, you hypocrites! You shut the door of the kingdom of heaven in people’s faces. You yourselves do not enter, nor will you let those enter who are trying to.

Oner of the hardest things I have had to deal with during this pandemic is not being able to meet together as church all the time!

In the Western world we tend to take meeting together for granted – we view it as the normal.

Now try to imagine what it is like for people who are persecuted just because they want to be able to meet in Jesus' name but their countries will not allow it.

Pray for more freedom around the world for God’s Word to be shared in person, freely!

Luke 6:27 But to you who are listening I say: Love your enemies, do good to those who hate you

Jesus wanted to make sure the disciples had no pre-conceived ideas about who was worthy to enter God’s Kingdom.

To this extent He persuaded them to love their enemies, bless those who mistreated them and to give more than people wanted to take!

These are hard commands to follow when we face evil enemies, bad people and those who seem hell-bent on mistreating us.

God is asking you to do this for Him, so they can know God’s grace.
