Jude 1:21 keep yourselves in God’s love as you wait for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ to bring you to eternal life.

It is the love of God which enables us to gain eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord; don’t be impatient with your path to eternal life...

God has appointed the time for us to join Him and we should do all we can to allow others to see the joy we have because we know we will have eternal life.

God’s love goes so much deeper that we realise and is a powerful tool we have in our lives to show others true hope. Use it!

Leviticus 25:17 Do not take advantage of each other, but fear your God. I am the Lord your God.

Too many times in our lives we take advantage of other people just because we can; too many of those times we do not think of the consequences, especially for those people.

When God said we need to love our neighbours it was not an excuse to abuse other neighbours!

God’s love is all encompassing and He wants us to share that same love with all the people around us and not just the people who pick and choose...

Love God openly and love your neighbours openly.

Leviticus 19:18 Do not seek revenge or bear a grudge against anyone among your people, but love your neighbour as yourself. I am the Lord.

Who is your neighbour? That is the first thing we ask when we read s verse like this, and, depending where you are in your relationship with God, your answer will differ...

God does not want to set limits for our relationships, not with Him or with anybody else. The Jews were taught how to refocus on God by keeping to themselves.

Only then did they get sent out by Jesus to tell the rest of the world about God and Jesus.

Love your neighbours by first making sure you love your God and yourself!

Luke 5:16 But Jesus often withdrew to lonely places and prayed.

What do you do when you want to pray? Where do you go to pray?

These are often questions we think of and don’t know how to answer because we are taught, as Christians, to lift up our prayers to God no matter where and when we are.

Whilst this is true, sitting and waiting on God to answer prayers is better done when we do not have the mad distractions of the world taking us away from God’s Word.

Take time out just as Jesus did to be with God your Father.
