John 9:11 He replied, “The man they call Jesus made some mud and put it on my eyes. He told me to go to Siloam and wash. So I went and washed, and then I could see.”

When we think of miracles, we tend to think of them in terms of what can be achieved in our physical world… who would stick mud in their eyes to allow them to see?

But Jesus is not limited to physical ways or to logical ways – God works in way we can not imagine and in ways we think impossible!

Don’t limit your prayers to ways you can understand – if you are in need, ask for the super-natural and not just the natural!

God can and will do it!

Acts 14:27 On arriving there, they gathered the church together and reported all that God had done through them and how he had opened a door of faith to the Gentiles.

Oh how we are going to look forward to doing this sort of thing in person again!

Whilst much of the world begins to realise we have to stay away from people in order to stop or slow the spread of the virus, we still have this need to go out into the public!

This has been shown by the number of people who ignored government advice and went out into parks and beaches.

But even in this time we can still open the door of faith by showing people how much we rely on God and trust Him to bring us through this pandemic!

Acts 28:28 “Therefore I want you to know that God’s salvation has been sent to the Gentiles, and they will listen!”

God made sure people would listen. Often times we get too comfortable in our ways and it is only when something is taken away from us or given to others that we stop and take notice!

God does not want to turn anyone away and this is why the Gospel has been given out to anyone who is willing to listen.

The Jews were ignoring it, so it was made available to the Gentiles right in front of their faces.

Don’t wait until God does something drastic before you make a difference to your life – be the change!

Isaiah 6:10 Make the heart of this people calloused; make their ears dull and close their eyes. Otherwise they might see with their eyes, hear with their ears, understand with their hearts, and turn and be healed.

What happens when you really annoy someone? They normally turn their back on you and don’t want to hear from you again!

God was at this stage with the people of Israel and wanted them to stop and think about what they were doing to Him!

We really do not want to be on the receiving end of this sort of wrath from God – He was able to create everything and is just as able to take it away when we annoy Him.

I would rather try to walk with God and listen to Him each day...
