John 15:15 I no longer call you servants, because a servant does not know his master’s business. Instead, I have called you friends, for everything that I learned from my Father I have made known to you.

When Jesus was preparing the disciples for what was to come, He made sure they knew just how much they meant to God.

Jesus lifted the disciples up as friends instead of servants because a servant should do whatever is required by the master because it is their job, but a friend does things out of love for their friend.

To have Jesus as your friend is absolutely remarkable – talk about crossing boundaries, classes, everything!

Your God wants to be your friend!

John 8:26 “I have much to say in judgment of you. But he who sent me is trustworthy, and what I have heard from him I tell the world.”

Jesus has every right to judge us for the things we do wrong. He has every right to tell us off for doing things wrong!

But, what does He choose to do? He chooses to tell us what God has given Him to tell the world. He chooses life over death!

As we continue in our global struggle over this pandemic, we really are in someone else’s hands all the time. Now is the time to listen to the truth and not hide behind lies!

Ephesians 4:14 Then we will no longer be infants, tossed back and forth by the waves, and blown here and there by every wind of teaching and by the cunning and craftiness of people in their deceitful scheming.

I wonder if you, like me, can look back on a day in your life when you felt like you were just a cork bobbing on the waves with no control over where you went.

But, as you grow in your life, experiencing more and learning more, you feel more able to do things and more willing to try and do those things.

Just remember. God is able. God can do anything. Will you trust in Him to guide and keep you no matter how insignificant your feel?

2 Peter 1:16 For we did not follow cleverly devised stories when we told you about the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ in power, but we were eyewitnesses of his majesty.

There is nothing quite as good as being an eye witness to make sure you know what goes on – but, as magicians can testify, the eye can be deceived!

God did not leave anything to chance because He made sure there were enough witnesses to the life of Jesus and especially (as is the case here) when God spoke out loud!

I do struggle to read and that is why my English is not always that good and I try to keep things short but tell as much as I can about God!
