Psalm 124:3 they would have swallowed us alive when their anger flared against us;
This is the type of thing the people of Israel knew about their lives if they had not called out to God.
They knew this because they did call out to Him.
Will you sit back and accept your fate, or will you call out to God?
Psalm 65:2 You who answer prayer, to you all people will come.
Who were/are the most popular people in school? Are they the ones who make the most noise?
If we follow the world and it’s ways, the only rewards we will gain are worldly gains.
But when we follow Christ the gains we will build up are heavenly and eternal.
Follow the right person, or lead!
Genesis 50:24 Then Joseph said to his brothers, ‘I am about to die. But God will surely come to your aid and take you up out of this land to the land he promised on oath to Abraham, Isaac and Jacob.’
We have a rich history of how God looked after people who continued to have faith in Him…
We too can add to that history if we have faith in Christ, listen to His will in our lives and continue to obey Him.
Join the innumerable number of people God has looked after.
Psalm 37:27 Turn from evil and do good; then you will dwell in the land for ever.
God wants us to turn away from evil because He knows we are weak and may give in to evil because it seems OK!
God continued to remind the people of Israel to turn from their evil ways and do good – because that is when He was able to do the greatest good for all people.
Other people around us depend on what we do!
