The Psalmist was very good at showing total trust in God, most of the time…
Many times we ‘allow’ God to do certain things in our lives instead of giving Him control.
To allow God to do what He does best means giving Him control!
Psalm 33:20 We wait in hope for the Lord; he is our help and our shield.
How often do you find yourself waiting in a queue or waiting for someone to respond to a request?
How often do you reply to requests immediately and how often do you put things off?
God has promised. We need to wait on Him and trust He is going to answer our prayers!
Psalm 17:7 Show me the wonders of your great love, you who save by your right hand those who take refuge in you from their foes.
Yesterday I was reminded of the power of God which brings a peace to us which nothing else can.
This is just the starting point when we accept Christ into our lives and stay close to Him for protection.
God is not limited by this world like we are; go ahead and ask for what you need, not what you think God can do!
Psalm 91:3 Surely he will save you from the fowler’s snare and from the deadly pestilence.
I do find it hard to depend totally on God at times especially where I can see a way forward and others are succeeding around me…
But it is not all about worldly success, money or other things like that; it should be about where you will end up with God!
If you live in an earthquake zone, earthquakes will happen which puts you in constant danger. But God has your soul in His hand!
