Proverbs 21:21 He who follows righteousness and mercy finds life, righteousness, and honour.

What is the difference in your own feeling between when you do things right and when you do things wrong? In order to feel better we should aim to continue to do what is right because that will fill our spirits with good feelings.

This does not mean the end of all is through doing good but rather we will find we can draw closer to righteousness.

It is going to be easier to find God when we are amongst righteous people who are close to God than when we are amongst unrighteous people flooding their lives with the world instead of with God.

Proverbs 21:27 The sacrifice of the wicked is an abomination; How much more when he brings it with wicked intent!

Just doing something because someone says it has to be done is not always right. Those people in charge should not be asking others to do things that are not right.

God asks things of us. In the beginning it was love, then sacrifice when we messed it up. Now He wants us to realise what it means to sacrifice and love.

Are you willing to give things up just because you love others?

Are you ready to give things up just because God loves you?

Genesis 4:7 If you do well, will you not be accepted? And if you do not do well, sin lies at the door. And its desire is for you, but you should rule over it.”

When thing go wrong for us we almost always get into a bad mood and more things tend to go wrong. But when we do things right to start with we are encouraged to continue doing better.

When we get down we lose that encouragement to do better and we just go with… whatever…

God wants to encourage us to do right and to enjoy our lives with Him but if we sulk away from Him it is harder for Him to be heard.

Don’t give up on things that go wrong. Change the game and try something different asking God for encouragement…

Jonah 4:9 Then God said to Jonah, “Is it right for you to be angry about the plant?” And he said, “It is right for me to be angry, even to death!”

Do you ever get angry with God? I know that I do get angry with Him at times, but I also know I should not be getting angry at Him but rather at what I have done or what others have done…

God was showing Jonah who was in charge of all nature and not just some of the chosen people!

If we do not take notice of what God is doing around us, with us and for us, we are never going to be able to grow with Him properly.

Listening to God and serving Him from our hearts and with humility should be our aim!
