Psalm 19:7 The law of the Lord is perfect, converting the soul; The testimony of the Lord is sure, making wise the simple;

There is nothing like the truth to undo us from the inside out and it is God’s Word that brings us to our knees!

Isn’t it amazing how so many things in life can annoy us and make us mad, but it is the truth itself that breaks down all those walls that we build up?

God has made sure that His Word has been recorded for our good. It is the truth. It has stood from the beginning. And it is what will set us free from our lives of sin!

Psalm 93:2 Your throne is established from of old; You are from everlasting.

There are ways of saying things that will stop and make people think and this verse should be one of those because it declares the eternity of Christ being our King of Kings.

We can look back over the history of our countries and see the kings and queens that ruled many years ago and see how some were successful and others failed miserably. But all have a limited time on the throne.

Christ, on the other hand, has had this throne for as long as we can think. Christ has had His throne for all eternity; from before history began!

Jeremiah 10:10 But the Lord is the true God; He is the living God and the everlasting King. At His wrath the earth will tremble, And the nations will not be able to endure His indignation.

When we talk about God it is not talking about some external power that plays with us like puppets but a living and ever present God who cares for us like a true Father does.

He is our creator who made everything around us and has given us charge of so much. He has even given us charge of His gospel!

We have governments who come and go, break things, build things up, annoy people, please people and generally fight against each other.

God is the one who has power over them all. We all need to fear God!
