Psalm 87:6 The Lord will write in the register of the peoples: ‘This one was born in Zion.’
It is not up to us to say who believes in God and who does not – but our actions often betray our true feelings!
God is the one who shall record who is born again, but we will show others through what we do and say.
How do you think others see you?
Ephesians 1:7 In him we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, in accordance with the riches of God’s grace
How difficult do you find it to forgive someone when they do you wrong?
How difficult do you find it when they continue to do your wrong?
Jesus stepped up to the cross so we may have forgiveness for ALL we have done!
Acts 2:42 They devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching and to fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer.
When was the last time you read two stories and had to figure out which one was true?
Sometimes we do have to take a step of faith and follow the teaching of someone who has been there already.
Our bibles are filled with accounts of people who have been there!
Psalm 116:10 I trusted in the Lord when I said, ‘I am greatly afflicted’;
It is not too difficult to listen out for help when we are in a load of trouble…
But listening out for direction when we think we know best is always going to be hard!
Listen carefully and try to obey the Holy Spirit.
