1 Corinthians 4:10 We are fools for Christ, but you are so wise in Christ! We are weak, but you are strong! You are honoured, we are dishonoured!

One of the things Paul tried to teach others was to not hold themselves up above others!

We may be children of God, but we must imitate Christ in becoming servants to all.

God alone is held up above us, though He because man and servant to us to demonstrate His love for us...

Psalm 37:3 Trust in the Lord and do good; dwell in the land and enjoy safe pasture.

Trusting in the Lord does not necessarily mean doing traditional things which church people have always done!

Trusting in the Lord means giving Him room to guide you and work through you in whatever you are doing.

Trusting in the Lord means giving Him control and not trying to do it all yourself!

Psalm 24:8 Who is this King of glory? The Lord strong and mighty, the Lord mighty in battle.

If you wanted to win the war you would probably make sure you had to most capable army to fight with.

If you want to succeed in life – what do you look for? If you look for the wealth and riches, then all you will succeed in is riches and wealth (if you’re lucky.)

When we want to win the fight for life, we need our eternal King of Glory by our side so we can always be on top!

Psalm 62:2 Truly he is my rock and my salvation; he is my fortress, I shall never be shaken.

Who or what gives you the strength to carry on with your life each and every day?

If we cling to our own strength or the strength of others, we find ourselves in very deep water when human strength fails us – and it does!

If we are willing to lean on the rock which is Christ our Saviour, then we have a rock foundation which goes far and beyond human strengths and understanding.

Depend on Christ!
