Acts 14:12 Barnabas they called Zeus, and Paul they called Hermes because he was the chief speaker.

Have you ever got carried away with what people think about you? Have you become over confident or overly proud because they thought you were someone or something else?

God wants us to be ourselves and to show the truth about our lives as servants of the people and of God.

This can mean people praise us for the things we do – always remember they should be praising God for allowing you to be able to do what you have done!

Genesis 22:17 I will surely bless you and make your descendants as numerous as the stars in the sky and as the sand on the seashore. Your descendants will take possession of the cities of their enemies

How comfortable are you as a Christian? Do you think you have a blessed life and could not want for anything?

Are you too comfortable?

Sometimes we do get very comfortable with our lives and we start living them in spite of being a Christian… that is when our focus on God starts dwindling!

God wants us to always be on our toes so don’t always expect everything to go smoothly!

Psalm 15:1 Lord, who may dwell in your sacred tent? Who may live on your holy mountain?

Have you ever sat down and asked yourself what Christ is asking you to do?

Have you ever thought that maybe He is simply asking you to be with Him in the dwelling places and holy places He is at?

Try not to get too hung up about whether you are worthy to be with God. He sent His Son to be amongst us in human form so we could be with Him in spiritual form later!
