Ephesians 2:19 Consequently, you are no longer foreigners and strangers, but fellow citizens with God’s people and also members of his household

Because Jesus opened the door to all people – we all have access to God through Christ’s blood.

We all are called children of God, all who receive Him as Saviour!

We become part of one big family of Christians because of what Christ did for every person & not because we belong to a particular church, denomination, creed or race...

Ephesians 2:13 But now in Christ Jesus you who once were far away have been brought near by the blood of Christ.

It is not what we can do, what we have done or what we are doing which really counts – it is the fact Jesus went to the cross on our behalf which really counts!

We may be able to show people how good we are, how much we have done, how well we can speak about Christ; but what counts is what Jesus teaches us through His word and the Holy Spirit!

Don’t worry you have done too many bad things – nothing is too big which cannot be covered by the blood Jesus shed for you on the cross – rejoice!

Ephesians 2:11 Therefore, remember that formerly you who are Gentiles by birth and called ‘uncircumcised’ by those who call themselves ‘the circumcision’ (which is done in the body by human hands)

These words to the Ephesians show the love of Christ going out to all people!

Up until Paul was called to spread the gospel to the Gentiles, everything was focused on getting the Jews to realise just who Jesus was!

God wants us all to be called Children of God whether we come from Jewish, Christian, whatever families or backgrounds.
