Genesis 22:1 Some time later God tested Abraham. He said to him, ‘Abraham!’ ‘Here I am,’ he replied.

Do you know what God wants you to do with your life? Have you asked Him? Have you stopped and waited for an answer?

Too many times in our lives we are far too busy to just stop and listen to God, to wait until He does guide us.

If you are answering “here I am,” are you stopping and waiting for an answer before rushing off and doing what you think God wants you to do?

Matthew 5:46 If you love those who love you, what reward will you get? Are not even the tax collectors doing that?

It’s statements like these which get our feelings going… being asked whether you only love your best friends just like ‘tax collectors’ do!

Our emotions are immediately put on edge because we don’t like the taxman who takes away our money!

Exodus 2:6 She opened it and saw the baby. He was crying, and she felt sorry for him. “This is one of the Hebrew babies,” she said.

Even when you think there is no hope for someone to have any feelings, God can make a way!

God soften the heart of Pharaoh’s daughter and allowed her to fall in love with a Hebrew baby; from rags to royalty…

We all love to dream we can be important or special; what we don’t realise is every one of us is very special to God and He is trying to guide us to the best place we can be in. In His arms!

John 18:40 They shouted back, “No, not him! Give us Barabbas!” Now Barabbas had taken part in an uprising.

Who are you backing in this life? Do you back the one who looks like a hero for dodgy dealing, stealing from the rich or ransacking in the name of justice?

We have to stand up for the truth which Christ brought with Him to the earth. We have to stand up for righteousness and God’s love.

If we stand up for what is right by worldly standards, we may well be working against God and not allowing others to experience a relationship with Christ...
