Psalm 27:14 Wait for the Lord; be strong and take heart and wait for the Lord.
What do you think of when someone tells you to wait on the Lord?
I love this verse because it tells you in plain English, you have to show some strength so you can wait on the Lord.
God knows you have to go beyond your comfort limits sometimes so He will give you the strength to wait on Him.
Romans 13:10 Love does no harm to a neighbour. Therefore love is the fulfilment of the law.
If only we could all see the real power of love in our communities!
Instead we get caught up in all the strife and anguish of things going wrong and people saying the wrong things.
God wants us to rise above the things of the world and accept each other with love!
Psalm 131:1 My heart is not proud, Lord, my eyes are not haughty; I do not concern myself with great matters or things too wonderful for me.
How often are you too proud to do something to help others or admit to your faults?
How often do you think of yourself as being above others or better than others?
How often do you act more like Jesus and invite others into your life?
Psalm 69:31 This will please the Lord more than an ox, more than a bull with its horns and hooves.
What will please God more than a good sacrifice? Showing your love for Him!
God has no need for unblemished animals as sacrifices – He own the universe!
God wants love to cover everything, love without limit and love without cause or need of return!
