Luke 21:33 Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will never pass away.

We have seen the words written about what happened over those few days back when Christ was crucified, buried and rose again, but how many of them do you listen to?

Just as Jesus tried to tell the disciples about what was to come, warning them and giving them time to think, He does the same for us.

But, this time, we have history recorded as well as Christ’s words of what is to come. The bible has existed right from the very earliest manuscripts and will continue to be passed around, albeit electronically nowadays!

Listen to and learn from God’s Word!

Matthew 28:10 Then Jesus said to them, “Do not be afraid. Go and tell my brothers to go to Galilee; there they will see me.”

Jesus wanted all the disciples to be together so He could have words with them… but getting them together could have been difficult!

Would you believe what seemed to be a ghost? Would you believe it is someone came back from the dead? Often it is not until we see a miracle that we do believe it and Jesus knows we think like that!

He made sure the right people would see Him before this meeting to ensure they would all be there to hear what He had to say.

We need to listen to our awesome God because He is trying to tell us something!

Matthew 27:66 So they went and made the tomb secure by putting a seal on the stone and posting the guard.

When you have been pushed a bit far and lied a bit much, do you stay the journey and continue telling lies, continue covering up and continue going astray – or will you stop and admit stuff?

These men had gone too far and needed to make sure their own worlds were secure in their own lies. They tried to stop the inevitable! They tried to maintain their own control!

When God says something should be done His way, we need to stop our ways and listen and obey. Doing things God’s way should be the only way we see possible!

Matthew 27:49 The rest said, “Now leave him alone. Let’s see if Elijah comes to save him.”

When you see someone in danger or even in a difficult position, what do you do about it?

Once again, we all like to think we will be the Good Samaritan, but we fail and allow the world to have its own way instead!

God certainly does not need out help, but He does treasure it when we volunteer to come forward in support of Him. He sees what we do, hears what we say and knows what we think.

Go one step further than just trusting and obeying. Be there!
