Hebrews 12:13 “Make level paths for your feet,” so that the lame may not be disabled, but rather healed.

Would you rather walk on a path which is level or a steep incline which will most likely allow you to fall and hurt yourself?

If we had the choice we would choose the easy way, but sometimes we have to put up with what we have in our lives rather than the choices we wish we had.

We need to make the most of what we have and to do that we need to take Christ with us as our helping and guiding hand; for every step and every direction!

Proverbs 4:26 Give careful thought to the paths for your feet and be steadfast in all your ways.

Each of us has free choice to do what we will; that will or those choices may not be the best we could do, but we do them.

How do you make the choices in your life? Do you follow the best or maddest sounding things to do, or do you try and discern what is righteous?

Our brains are amazing and fast; give a second or two though before you act… it may just make all the difference in your choices in life!

Proverbs 4:25 Let your eyes look straight ahead; fix your gaze directly before you.

How many times have you been told to keep your eyes to yourself or keep them away from stuff?

The more we allow ourselves to see and watch things, the more we are willing to accept those things into our lives.

If you want to achieve a certain goal in life, then keeping your eyes firmly fixed on that goal will make it more likely to happen.

God wants you to look to Him in all things so your life will be centred around Him.

Proverbs 4:24 Keep your mouth free of perversity; keep corrupt talk far from your lips.

I know I will sound like an old man by saying this – but what comes out of your mouth does define you in many ways!

It is not nice to listen to a young person shout and scream obscenities at others. It is not nice to have to listen to anyone say such things.

Saying bad stuff seems to switch something in your brain which then somehow convinces you it is OK to do such things… it’s not! No matter how many times you say it!
