Acts 4:12 Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved.

It is always good to remember the “obvious” as a seasoned Christian… but how many people have you passed on this knowledge to?

How often do you live up to the Word of God? How often do you reflect Christ? How often do you live for the Salvation?

God does not want us to sit back and relax in our new-found hedge of safety He tries to surround us with; He wants us to be pioneers, missionaries, disciples, evangelists, prayer warriors… living our Godly lives with others in this world who do not know this simple truth…

Hebrews 2:3 how shall we escape if we ignore so great a salvation? This salvation, which was first announced by the Lord, was confirmed to us by those who heard him.

How often do you ignore the rules? Did you know those rules (or at least most of them) have been set up for your good?

God has given us His word which has been passed down through generations and written down in biblical texts and scriptures for a long time. God has made sure of it.

Why? Because these are the things we should be living by. How can we ignore the truth about Salvation when it has been so clearly given to us… in writing!

Isaiah 1:20 but if you resist and rebel, you will be devoured by the sword.” For the mouth of the Lord has spoken.

How often have you blamed God for something which has happened or is happening to you now?

The wording here is quite specific from God… if you walk away from Him and ignore His instructions, then the world is going to eat you up!

God is not going to punish you! You have walked away from His protection and refused His help and guidance. What happens next is what the world around you gives you or what the evil one dishes out for you!

Isaiah 42:23 Which of you will listen to this or pay close attention in time to come?

I do love chapters 42 and 43 of Isaiah because they have made a big difference to the way I live my life; but it’s normally the beginning of both chapters we all focus on.

Who is going to remember the things God asked us to do weeks or years afterward? Who is going to remember the words He gave us?

Unless we focus on Him in our lives all of the time, we are likely to forget as many things as anyone else. Keep God up to date!
