Psalm 14:4 Do all these evildoers know nothing? They devour my people as though eating bread; they never call on the LORD.

Have you noticed how the people who do so many things wrong do not have a true knowledge of the consequences of what they are doing?

Many may know there are consequences, but continue to ignore them because they have a notion they will not have to see those consequences for themselves.

Unfortunately, the truth does always come out and people end up having to pay for what they have done in some way.

But God has made a way we can move forward from our sins…

Proverbs 30:14 those whose teeth are swords and whose jaws are set with knives to devour the poor from the earth and the needy from among mankind.

You do have to wonder at some people and how they cannot see the needs of the poor. Yes, there are people who cannot actually see past their own lifestyles!

But who are we to judge them? Who are we to say whether we would not have been like that given enough money and corruption?

No matter what our circumstance, whether obscenely rich or unbelievably poor, we have a duty to follow God’s example and to love each other.

Reach out today and make a difference in someone else’s life.

Proverbs 30:10 Do not slander a servant to their master, or they will curse you, and you will pay for it.

How many times have you jumped in to an argument to support someone without actually knowing the truth behind the harsh words?

How many of those times did you have to (or should you have) apologise for getting the wrong end of the story?

When we lash out at others without knowing the background or truth, we are doing nothing more than falsely judging others – breaking one of the 10 Commandments!

Just because we may be poor people and fighting rich people does not mean we must support lies together. Think before you shout out!

Proverbs 10:11 The mouth of the righteous is a fountain of life, but the mouth of the wicked conceals violence.

For people who are genuinely trying to follow Christ, talking about Him and sharing all He has done for us is not a problem.

For those who want to follow religion instead of the truth, a whole string of conflicts starts to surface and soon takes over.

Stretch that a bit further and the conflicts turn to hatred and violence; this is where extremism comes from.

Follow Christ and as He stands for, leaving the world and religion behind you!
