Jude 1:25 to the only God our Saviour be glory, majesty, power and authority, through Jesus Christ our Lord, before all ages, now and forevermore! Amen.

What would make a brother of Jesus write such words about someone whom he did not really believe in the beginning? The Truth!

The brothers (or half brothers) of Jesus would have had a hard time believing their own brother was God! It’s hard enough believing your brother about most things when you are young, never mind something so great!

But Jesus never turned His back on any of them, knowing God would bring them home in His own time.

Believe in and trust in the only wise Saviour, Jesus Christ!

1 Timothy 1:17 Now to the King eternal, immortal, invisible, the only God, be honour and glory for ever and ever. Amen.

I’m sure these words will remind you of an old hymn, but how do you really look at God?

Do you see Him as someone, Jesus, who has lived in the past and that’s about it? Or do you see Him as a ghost-like being who is around and about?

God is so much more than we can think of; don’t be discouraged into thinking He cannot be real because you cannot imagine Him!

He deserves all the honour and glory because it is God who created us and sustains us – we just seem to mess things up a lot in front of Him!

John 4:24 God is spirit, and his worshipers must worship in the Spirit and in truth.

God is Holy. He is Just. He is not just something someone made up. God is real!

But we also need to know Him as being God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit.

Right now, we cannot see Him. God the Father is all encompassing and everywhere. God the Son, Jesus, is enjoying His time in Heaven. The Holy Spirit is here with us continually, even though we cannot see Him.

We need to worship our Great God as being the way, the truth and the life; everything in our lives!

2 Corinthians 3:17 Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom.

So many people get caught up in the religion instead of the truth about Christ; why? Because they have something they can physically get a hold of and do for themselves.

When they get caught up in religion, it takes over their lives and they become slaves to the religion.

Christ wants us all to be free. Christ wants us to know Him and love Him and each other. When we accept Him as Saviour, He will try to teach us more of the truth, it that truth will set us free!
