John 7:38 Whoever believes in me, as Scripture has said, rivers of living water will flow from within them.

We have plenty of scripture which talks about living water flowing from Christ, so when we read what Christ was saying here, it may come as a bit of a shock to some.

Christ did not come to show people how great He was so they would bow down to Him, He came to save us and to allow us to grow with Him.

When we believe in Him, the Holy Spirit comes to live with us and when that happens we are filled to overflowing with the same living waters.

Allow yourself to be filled to overflowing and embrace Christianity to the fullest!

John 4:14 but whoever drinks the water I give them will never thirst. Indeed, the water I give them will become in them a spring of water welling up to eternal life.”

Just as this woman at Jacob’s well got an answer she was not expecting, we too may get answers we are not expecting.

God is not limited by our imaginations or by our time; instead He will give us answers we need to hear, answers we need to know.

Listen well and digest any answer He gives because it will go further than you think! Jesus wants us to know the truth, the whole truth and everything we need to know.

John 6:52 Then the Jews began to argue sharply among themselves, “How can this man give us his flesh to eat?”

If we do ask Jesus questions, we must be willing to listen to the answer and find out more about the answer too.

Jesus was talking to the people to try and get them to understand He was more than just a person; something they were not willing to accept at this stage.

If we are not willing to accept the answers given us by God, then we too may be stumbling about a while before we understand.

The bible has been given to us so we can find out more and have answers expanded and elaborated on. Use it!

John 3:9 “How can this be?” Nicodemus asked.

Do you have questions you want to ask God? Well then, go ahead and ask Him!

We don’t have to keep quiet and try hide the fact we may look silly by asking question which may be obvious to others; if we never ask we will not find out the answers!

Jesus wants us to know the truth and He is willing to listen to our questions and make sure they are answered in full.

It may take a bit of time for us to hear the answer clearly – we may well not want to know the answer – but keep on listening!
