Jeremiah 3:11 The Lord said to me, ‘Faithless Israel is more righteous than unfaithful Judah.

If we try to say how faithful we are and go off and be unfaithful behind the scenes we are fooling nobody but ourselves.

God continues to watch us in all our walks in life and sees what is in our hearts and not just what we present to the rest of the world.

God wants to forgive and bless and not to have to tell us off all the time for going in the wrong direction.

Just because nobody else may see us does not mean that God will miss what we get up to!

2 Timothy 1:4 Recalling your tears, I long to see you, so that I may be filled with joy.

When you know that someone is upset, one of the best ways of getting over that or cheering them up is to go and see them face to face.

Jesus made a point of getting to see many people when He was ministering to them. He would not just go to see friends and family either but went to see the sick, poor, angry, sad… the list being exhaustive!

When we want to encourage people to believe in our Lord as we do, should we not try to see them face to face so they can see the joy we get out of sharing our Lord?

Don’t just be happy, but spread your happiness to others!

2 John 1:12 Having many things to write to you, I did not wish to do so with paper and ink; but I hope to come to you and speak face to face, that our joy may be full.

What better way to tell people good news that to tell them face to face?

Even though we may be bursting to say something, sometimes we just have to wait until we see someone before we tell them the good news we have to share.

And then there are times when we just cannot help ourselves but we burst forward and say things without thinking of the consequences…

Try make sure what you are ready to say is always going to be God filled; that way it will always contain joy!

John 16:24 Until now you have asked nothing in My name. Ask, and you will receive, that your joy may be full.

When Jesus was telling the disciples that He was going to die, He also gave them hope they could cling to. He told them that He would answer prayers.

Because of what Christ was going to do, He was placing Himself in the best position possible to make sure that all prayers could come through Him and be faithfully and fully answered.

What better advocate do we have than Christ Himself taking our requests directly to God the Father to be answered because He requested it!
