Psalm 25:1 In you, Lord my God, I put my trust.
What are the things in life which you count on, rely on and hold firm too?
Most English people will say their homes are the one thing they can count on: “The Englishman's house is his castle”
Putting your faith and trust in an unseen God can be difficult at first until you know!
1 Peter 1:14 As obedient children, do not conform to the evil desires you had when you lived in ignorance.
We have a choice as to whether we live as a new person in Christ or continue to live as a person of the world.
The more we try to live as a person of this world, the more we will be drawn in by the temptations of this world.
Giving in to the temptations is much like drinking alcohol, the more you have the more you want until it is too late!
Psalm 15:5 who lends money to the poor without interest; who does not accept a bribe against the innocent. Whoever does these things will never be shaken.
This psalm points to the upright people in society; those who make it their decision to follow God’s commands.
Christ taught the disciples to be different in life, not to follow the ways of the world.
Those ways start by believing Jesus is Lord of all!
2 Corinthians 13:11 Finally, brothers and sisters, rejoice! Strive for full restoration, encourage one another, be of one mind, live in peace. And the God of love and peace will be with you.
Do you allow others to know you are a Christian? If not, then how can you share your hope in Christ!
Do you share the gospel with others? If not, then how will others learn about Christ!
Do you encourage others to seek Christ? If not, then start!
