Deuteronomy 6:7 You shall teach them diligently to your children, and shall talk of them when you sit in your house, when you walk by the way, when you lie down, and when you rise up.

Teaching children and youth is one of the most important tasks we have; without sound teaching they will not get to hear the truth!

But it is not just teaching them the worldly things they need. They need to know the Gospel so that they can get to know God as well.

Without a relationship with Christ, children are not going to be able to “walk on water”, they will only walk like everyone other non-believer.

Joel 1:3 Tell your children about it, let your children tell their children, and their children another generation.

One of the most important things we need to do is to share the Gospel!

Not everyone can read, not everyone can hear, not everyone can walk to church, not everyone has enough to buy a bible… so we have a duty to take this Word that we have and share it.

We can see the results of God being left out of lives as we see various parts of society crumble and fall. God needs to be in our lives and He needs to be at the centre!

Don’t leave God out until Sunday. Bring Him in here and now!

Revelation 16:15 “Behold, I am coming as a thief. Blessed is he who watches, and keeps his garments, lest he walk naked and they see his shame.”

Death is something that does not announce itself at any exact time, it comes when it comes. Christ allows us to see the uncertainty of death so that we know the uncertainty of the time of His return.

We cannot prevent death and we cannot prevent Christ’s return.

But what we can do is be ready for both. We can keep our households in good order. We can keep our faith strong. We can continue to serve God as best we can.

Don’t fear the end. Rather work expecting it so that you feel fulfilled every day!

Genesis 3:10 So he said, “I heard Your voice in the garden, and I was afraid because I was naked; and I hid myself.”

There are times when we run and hide because we are scared, frightened or worried that things will go wrong.

God does not want us to be scared of Him but rather to fear Him. So what’s the difference?

Fearing God means knowing that He is in absolute charge. That means that what He says goes!

Listen to God to find out what He really wants of you, and then DO IT!
