Matthew 1:5 Salmon the father of Boaz, whose mother was Rahab, Boaz the father of Obed, whose mother was Ruth, Obed the father of Jesse,

Have you ever been surprised by meeting someone from you past out of the blue, or meeting someone born in the same place as you on the other side of the world?

We can look at things as being coincidences all we like, but when we get to look through who had to get together and where and when to make sure Christ was born we should stand in awe!

God continues to make sure so much does happen in our lives to encourage and protect us. Believe more in Him and less in the world today!

Hebrews 3:4 For every house is built by someone, but He who built all things is God.

We have some pretty amazing people in this world who can build some amazing things and yet none compare to the simple human body.

We can marvel at the accomplishments of men over the years and still we know that we have got a very long way before we can duplicate what God has done.

That does not seem to stop man from trying things; why can’t we just accept that God has created all things and trust Him with our futures?

Pride?

2 John 1:9 Anyone who runs ahead and does not continue in the teaching of Christ does not have God; whoever continues in the teaching has both the Father and the Son.

When people come to you with good ideas and plans of doing great things for God, make sure that they are bringing God’s teaching into their ideas as well.

When people come in and tell you that Jesus was just a man or just a prophet and not the Son of God, they are going against God, against God’s Word and are themselves heading for a fall.

We are warned about such people in many ways in our bibles, and yet we are also quick to jump at any chance of getting involved with something that sounds good.

Make sure biblical teaching is in the idea. Make sure God is in the idea.

1 Corinthians 3:9 For we are God’s fellow workers; you are God’s field, you are God’s building.

There is no way that God would let us just go out there and do His work without being there with us. When He calls us to do His Work He is calling us to work with Him.

The other side of that is that we should never go out to do God’s work alone; we should always make sure that we take Him with us.

So the best way of looking at this is to go forward to willingly take on God’s work and expect Him to be with you every step of the way.

God has given us what we need already, we have to start using it properly.
