Psalm 31:3 Since you are my rock and my fortress, for the sake of your name lead and guide me.
To be an example for Christ means others should see the good we choose to do.
To be a better example means others know why we choose to do the things we do.
Allow Christ to guide you every step to be the best example for Him!
Hebrews 10:18 And where these have been forgiven, sacrifice for sin is no longer necessary.
The way to forgiveness may have seemed hard for people back then.
When Jesus went to the cross it was for our sins He paid the price.
That is the level of forgiveness He offers to us nowadays!
Exodus 12:11 This is how you are to eat it: with your cloak tucked into your belt, your sandals on your feet and your staff in your hand. Eat it in haste; it is the Lord’s Passover.
How many times have you gone into a takeaway and rushed your meal because you are already running late?
This is the urgency Christ wants us to have when seeking forgiveness.
Don’t carry on putting off things. Don’t try and clean up before seeking forgiveness. Just do it!
Psalm 70:3 May those who say to me, ‘Aha! Aha!’ turn back because of their shame.
When was the last time you gave someone the chance to do the right thing instead of blaming them and calling for punishment?
Are you willing to give everyone another chance like Jesus did?
Will you show a bit of Christ’s grace by giving someone a chance today?
