1 Corinthians 1:26 Brothers and sisters, think of what you were when you were called. Not many of you were wise by human standards; not many were influential; not many were of noble birth.

God is not looking for the smartest, most influential people to take on the ministry of spreading the gospel.

He wants you, just as you are, because you are perfect for a particular task he has!

Will you say “here I am, use me”

Psalm 36:9 For with you is the fountain of life; in your light we see light.

Does your work reflect the light of Christ?

Can people see a bit of Christ when they look at you and your life?

Where do you spend most of your time and money?

What does Christ see in you?

Psalm 118:2 Let Israel say: ‘His love endures for ever.’

I think one of the biggest disappointments in life is when the love people have for each other seems to come to an end…

That is something I find hard to follow or agree with, and something Jesus does not know!

Christ has shown us His love by doing what He did – but that love continues on each and every day!

John 11:54 Therefore Jesus no longer moved about publicly among the people of Judea. Instead he withdrew to a region near the wilderness, to a village called Ephraim, where he stayed with his disciples.

What did Jesus do when the world and people started to get too much?

He withdrew from the people focused on the world and went to be closer to God to share God with others.

Sometimes we need to refocus where we are to gain strength to carry on for Christ!
