Genesis 17:9 Then God said to Abraham, ‘As for you, you must keep my covenant, you and your descendants after you for the generations to come.

We can learn a lot from the covenant God made with Abram, or Abraham as we know him…

God made this promise to Abraham. Abraham grew tired of waiting because he was limiting the response by worldly knowledge.

Give God the space to do what He does best – and obey Him!

John 8:41 ‘You are doing the works of your own father.’ ‘We are not illegitimate children,’ they protested. ‘The only Father we have is God himself.’

When Jesus was facing the Pharisees He was trying to get them to see they had a future with God – if they wanted it!

God knows we face all manner of things in our lives, but He wants us to know the truth and trust in it always.

God wants to adopt us all!

Numbers 21:8 The Lord said to Moses, ‘Make a snake and put it up on a pole; anyone who is bitten can look at it and live.’

I used to get confused with many of the Old Testament records of what happened – mostly because I did not have a good understanding of those stories.

As I grow in Christ ever day I gain a deeper understanding of Him and enjoy a deeper relationship with Him.

It is only to start believing; Christ will do the encouraging and strengthening all the way.
