When we place our trust in God, He will never let us down.
Our friends and family may well let us down because of circumstances beyond their control…
God is able to overcome anything and will not have anything outside of His control!
Mark 4:22 For whatever is hidden is meant to be disclosed, and whatever is concealed is meant to be brought out into the open.
How many times have you used a torch or lamp to read a book or letter?
If we want to learn new things we need to study and find out about them.
That starts from shining a light on the subject.
Acts 9:17 Then Ananias went to the house and entered it. Placing his hands on Saul, he said, ‘Brother Saul, the Lord – Jesus, who appeared to you on the road as you were coming here – has sent me so that you may see again and be filled with the Holy Spirit.’
Ananias went to Paul with a message from God; all he could do was to deliver the message…
What God did because of that message was to remove the doubt and spiritual blindness from Paul’s eyes and heart.
We deliver the message – God uses the message to change people from the inside out.
Hebrews 10:8 First he said, ‘Sacrifices and offerings, burnt offerings and sin offerings you did not desire, nor were you pleased with them’– though they were offered in accordance with the law.
When the disciple wrote these words, I’m sure he chose them carefully so as to not upset the Hebrew people – but the truth has a habit of upsetting people no matter what!
God does not want us to do things because it is written down in scrolls or books of law…
He wants us to do things because we love Him and want to obey Him.
