Psalm 136:26 Give thanks to the God of heaven. His love endures for ever.
This Psalm lists many reasons to thank God for, but this is the one which shows His true love for us!
God does not hang around earth trying to do things to please all people…
God is in Heaven, waiting for us, because of His Son Jesus Christ!
Genesis 3:22 And the Lord God said, ‘The man has now become like one of us, knowing good and evil. He must not be allowed to reach out his hand and take also from the tree of life and eat, and live for ever.’
God was willing to allow us to live forever right up until the point where we sinned!
Because of that sin we are not allowed to live forever; at least not until we are no longer guilty…
Jesus paid for the debt we owe for the sins we do, making it possible for us to join God back in Heaven eventually!
Psalm 32:8 I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go; I will counsel you with my loving eye on you.
When God offers you a hand, you need to take that hand with everything you have!
When God says listen, you need to listen with both ears!
When God tells you to do something, it’s time for you to stop and obey Him!
Psalm 128:3 Your wife will be like a fruitful vine within your house; your children will be like olive shoots round your table.
When God created a woman for the man, He did so to create a life-long companion for the man.
If we listen to God and obey His will in our lives, we too can find happiness in a new relationship which includes Him in the middle.
No matter who you meet, always keep God in the middle!
