Isaiah 40:26 Lift up your eyes and look to the heavens: who created all these? He who brings out the starry host one by one and calls forth each of them by name. Because of his great power and mighty strength, not one of them is missing.

I woke up early this morning and looking out of the window I spotted a single very bright “star.” I think it was Betelgeuse (yes I had to look up the spelling!)

Mankind has named most bright stars in the sky – but God knows them all and also the ones we don’t know!

Every night the stars will come out – behind the clouds much of the time, but they are always there, just like God’s love for us!

Jeremiah 33:3 “Call to me and I will answer you and tell you great and unsearchable things you do not know.”

God made sure the prophets understood who He was and what was required from the people.

The prophets, in turn, would try to express these views to the people so they would understand too…

Do you listen to your church leaders when they try to tell you the truth from the Gospel?

Psalm 85:11 Faithfulness springs forth from the earth, and righteousness looks down from heaven.

Jesus came down to earth in human form but did not live like us; He lived a holy life to show us hope through Him to Heaven.

This hope springs up from earth because this is where Jesus came to give us that hope.

He has shown us the direction and has demonstrated it can be done – even if we face tribulations here on earth!
