Psalm 95:1 Come, let us sing for joy to the Lord; let us shout aloud to the Rock of our salvation.
When was the last time you worshipped God in song? I love to listen to worshipful songs which I sing in my heart.
Remembering what Jesus has done for us and what He means to us is important.
There are many good and righteous worship songs when you go looking for them!
Psalm 51:19 Then you will delight in the sacrifices of the righteous, in burnt offerings offered whole; then bulls will be offered on your altar.
We don’t go about offering bulls on the altar nowadays – can you imagine the uproar if anyone tried to do that!
But we do need to answer “what are you willing to sacrifice for Jesus?”
Metaphorically we should be willing to offer the biggest and best we have for God – no holding back!
Psalm 100:4 Enter his gates with thanksgiving and his courts with praise; give thanks to him and praise his name.
Do you find it difficult to enjoy something when you are feeling down or rejected?
If we are able to turn rejection and despair around and apply faith and thanksgiving instead, our lives will get better!
Giving thanks and praising God can be difficult when you are down, but it always leads to joy!
Matthew 10:21 Brother will betray brother to death, and a father his child; children will rebel against their parents and have them put to death.
When you try to live for and with God in your life, you are going to find many people will turn their backs on you or even dislike you just because you are a Christian!
God has continue to warn us about this all throughout the scriptures…
Why do we expect anything different!
