Luke 13:21 It is like yeast that a woman took and mixed into about thirty kilograms of flour until it worked all through the dough.

When you put some yeast in with the flour mix, it spreads all throughout the dough quite quickly…

We need to put a bit more yeast in our churches so the Gospel can spread a bit quicker!

Don’t hold back just because it falls outside the earthly rules – God’s rules count!

Ephesians 4:32 Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you.

God’s forgiveness goes far and beyond our imagination; I mean, who would allow their child to die for our sake and then give us a permanent and foolproof way to be with them forever!

When you next get mad at someone, think what Christ has already done…

Think about how much God has forgiven them and you already!

Luke 18:11 The Pharisee stood by himself and prayed: “God, I thank you that I am not like other people – robbers, evildoers, adulterers – or even like this tax collector.

How do you go about showing others your trust in Christ?

Do you shout about it like this Pharisee, or do you stay quiet in the background and simply trust in Him?

Christ wants a bit of both – but He will openly reward us when we quietly but honestly trust in Him!

Psalm 122:3 Jerusalem is built like a city that is closely compacted together.

One thing I thought of when I read this verse was how every town and city is made up of a lot of different people.

We are all different but because we live so close together, we all share in the community…

Jesus wants us to be close to one another in spirit and in love...
