One of the things we do not do enough is to acknowledge God in our lives!
Worship songs, singing, music and poetry are a few of the ways in which we can give God the glory.
If you are like me and can’t sing too well, can’t play music and can’t write poems, then we can simply talk to Him more.
Let God know how you feel!
Luke 11:46 Jesus replied, ‘And you experts in the law, woe to you, because you load people down with burdens they can hardly carry, and you yourselves will not lift one finger to help them.
One thing God does not call us to do is to place burdens on people’s shoulders by reminding them they are sinning all the time.
God wants us to shed light into people’s lives and allow Him to show them the sin instead.
It is our task as disciples to spread the gospel message and shed the light, inviting people in to learn more about Him together.
Psalm 119:44 I will always obey your law, for ever and ever.
When we say we are going to obey God’s laws, we need to do what we say we are going to do.
By saying we will and never getting round to doing it, we are lying to God as well as to ourselves and others.
Following God’s law goes a whole lot further than just doing what is righteous – think before you promise God!
Psalm 113:6 who stoops down to look on the heavens and the earth?
Have you ever thought of God as being a God who looks after the righteous and ignores the sinners?
Have you ever realised you are a sinner and God still seems to look out for you?
God is the one who reached down to offer us a helping hand even though we did not deserve it!
