Galatians 1:22 I was personally unknown to the churches of Judea that are in Christ.

Do you try to get noticed in church? Do you make sure people get to know you?

Just who are you promoting when you go to your church?

Christ warns us to submit as servants for a reason. We don’t need to be the best known person in our church – we just need to show people the way to Christ!

Psalm 111:2 Great are the works of the Lord; they are pondered by all who delight in them.

Those people who know God, know how great He is and can delight in what He does for us…

But, unless a person gets to know God, how will they know about Him or be able to delight in Him?

We need to actively go out and invite people in to learn more about Christ...

2 Timothy 1:1-14 For the Spirit God gave us does not make us timid, but gives us power, love and self-discipline.

When Jesus said He would send the Holy Spirit to be our companion, He did not say it to tell us He is sending a policeman to watch our every step…

He said it to show us what He is giving us is more powerful than anything we have – the power to change things!

The disciples saw the power of the spirit when they went out to spread the gospel – draw on that power and live with it!
