Psalm 89:21 My hand will sustain him; surely my arm will strengthen him.

King David would always remember the words God spoke to him through the prophet Nathan; how He would always love David and continue to watch over him no matter what.

God has made the same promise to ever one of us through His Son Jesus Christ – the birth of whom we celebrate tomorrow!

Every day this year, remember what God has done for you and how much we must mean to Him – He allowed His Son to come to us in person!

Malachi 3:1 ‘I will send my messenger, who will prepare the way before me. Then suddenly the Lord you are seeking will come to his temple; the messenger of the covenant, whom you desire, will come,’ says the Lord Almighty.

Hundreds of years before Christ came, the prophets were telling of two people who would come; first the messenger who would come before Christ, and then Christ the Messiah.

These words were being told within families and in temples, preparing people for what was to come.

We can look back now and see how amazing these prophets were in telling us so clearly.

But, no matter how much we say, there is always going to be some people who doubt or refuse to believe; hold them close and open up the truth to them!

Psalm 113:3 From the rising of the sun to the place where it sets, the name of the Lord is to be praised.

How often do you praise God? Do you praise Him when you wake up, when you go to bed, when you’re walking down the street?

How about when you are doing your favourite activity? How about when you are getting carried away with something you love?

God needs to be number one in your life – this is what He asked for in the beginning and what Jesus reminded us of when He came to live with us.

Psalm 33:11 But the plans of the Lord stand firm for ever, the purposes of his heart through all generations.

Have you ever noticed how many of our plans fall flat? Even plans made by the biggest companies and richest people often fall flat!

But take a look at the plans laid down by God, no matter how tough and difficult the way was, those plans still succeeded!

God knows what is best for each of us and His plans for us are the right plans.

Let us stop fighting God’s plans and support them – things will go a lot quicker and smoother!
