Psalm 80:3 Restore us, O God; make your face shine on us, that we may be saved.

When you feel like you are in the heat of the battle, remember God is right with you and supporting your every move.

You may not feel like it because everyone seems to be against you, or you may be working harder than you imagined you would ever be…

But God is your life-line, your support and your strength to continue fighting the temptations and the resistance.

Trust in Him, wholly!

Jeremiah 23:5 ‘The days are coming,’ declares the Lord, ‘when I will raise up for David a righteous Branch, a King who will reign wisely and do what is just and right in the land.

God has given us every reason to be ready and prepared for what is ahead; but to be prepared, we have to listen!

Jeremiah told of the King who would come from the lineage of David, the King who would come to love and protect His people.

It was only those who were willing to listen and learn who were blessed to know this man, our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ.

Today, you can know Him too!

Matthew 18:6 ‘If anyone causes one of these little ones – those who believe in me – to stumble, it would be better for them to have a large millstone hung round their neck and to be drowned in the depths of the sea.

Do you see yourself as a tiny drop in the huge ocean which is our universe?

God sees you for who you are and what you can be; God knows what is the best direction for you to go forward in.

If someone puts you down and makes you feel any smaller than a beloved child of God, then step back and allow God to sort them out; don’t get caught up in petty squabbles.
