Acts 11:24 He was a good man, full of the Holy Spirit and faith, and a great number of people were brought to the Lord.

Barnabas was not the one who started people turning to God. He was not the one who brought all the people to God... He was just a leader at that time who would continue to good work!

Far too often we count the numbers instead of the true intent. It is not our job to rake in people as if they are money!

God wants people to know Him in a very personal manner – this means opening God’s Word to them and allowing them to see the truth...

God is with us!

Psalm 55:22 Cast your cares on the Lord and he will sustain you; he will never let the righteous be shaken.

Are you trying to carry all your troubles by yourself – because that is the way you were taught by your society?

Well, God has been trying to tell us to cast our burden on His shoulders for some time... and we have clearly not been listening!

It’s time to stop listening to the world and what it has to say and turn toward the truth and listen to what God has to say to us... really listen!

Mark 4:21 He said to them, ‘Do you bring in a lamp to put it under a bowl or a bed? Instead, don’t you put it on its stand?

When you are going to walk in the dark, do you put your torch in your pocket, or do you hold it out in front so you can see where you are going?

God has given us this love we have in our hearts and He wants us to share it with others people – this means sharing it and not trying to hide it in your pockets in case someone upsets you!

Allow the comfort of God to embrace you as you step forward and share your Christian love with others!

Matthew 5:37 All you need to say is simply “Yes,” or “No”; anything beyond this comes from the evil one.

When you want to make a promise, what do you back it up with? Words, deeds, money, people, time...

God wants our words to be more like His, promises which are to be kept at all times!

We should not have to go out of our way to make a promise – but to just say yes or no to make sure people understand your word is good and firm!
