Luke 16:9 I tell you, use worldly wealth to gain friends for yourselves, so that when it is gone, you will be welcomed into eternal dwellings.

Sometimes we get too tied up in what we are working for in life to see what real wealth is – money can buy many things here, but nothing in Heaven!

God wants us to focus on what we can do for others rather than how much wealth we can build up for ourselves.

God is looking at how we can live with others in heaven and not how much we can achieve here on earth.

Turn your eyes toward Heaven today!

John 20:30 Jesus performed many other signs in the presence of his disciples, which are not recorded in this book.

When we look through the Gospels within the New Testament, we are amazed by the number of miracles and wonders Jesus did... and yet this apparently is a small sample of what He did!

If we can be encouraged by what we read, then just imagine the encouragement the disciples gained by watching Jesus do so much more.

Listen closely to what God is telling you through reading your bible, and have faith in knowing He can do so much more!

Romans 12:10 Be devoted to one another in love. Honour one another above yourselves.

When Jesus told us the most important things in life are to love God with everything we have and then to love one another likewise – He was not kidding!

Love for one another is central to our life on earth. Without this love God has given us, we are nothing in reality!

Holding each other higher than we hold ourselves will always allow us to do more than if we try to hold ourselves up!

Romans 12:3 For by the grace given me I say to every one of you: do not think of yourself more highly than you ought, but rather think of yourself with sober judgment, in accordance with the faith God has distributed to each of you.

One thing Jesus impressed on the disciples was they are just normal people going about life on earth – but with a special guide given them directly by God!

We don’t get to call ourselves kings, priests or anything else in life – it is the people around us who get to call us those things.

Anything more than that needs to come from the one who has the authority to call us more – God!
