Acts 8:35 Then Philip began with that very passage of Scripture and told him the good news about Jesus.

What are your earliest memories about stories from the bible?

Have you tried to tell someone else your favourite story?

Philip used what knowledge he had to teach someone who was willing to listen and learn!

You’ll be surprised at how many people do want to learn more about the bible and know virtually nothing... help them...

John 14:16 And I will ask the Father, and he will give you another advocate to help you and be with you for ever

When Jesus explained He was not going to be with the disciples for much longer, He reassured them by saying He would ask God to bring someone who could be with them – always.

This being the third person in the God-Head. The Holy Spirit.

Whilst we cannot get our heads round this fact God is three separate parts, but one God – He does not want us to be left alone or confused by things.

Listen out for the Holy Spirit and He will give you enough understanding to live your life for God in faith!

Isaiah 32:2 Each one will be like a shelter from the wind and a refuge from the storm, like streams of water in the desert and the shadow of a great rock in a thirsty land.

When we have someone in power who listen to God and follows His instruction, we have a country which is good to live in.

Alas, so many people are corrupted by power and leadership and stop listening to God; our land becomes like a dry desert, harsh to live in.

Allow God to guide you in everyday life, but always ask Him to guide our country’s leaders as well!

1 Samuel 16:11 So he asked Jesse, ‘Are these all the sons you have?’ ‘There is still the youngest,’ Jesse answered. ‘He is tending the sheep.’ Samuel said, ‘Send for him; we will not sit down until he arrives.’

What do you do when God asks you to do something? Do you start worrying? Do you try and get out of it? Do you try and hide?

We all have our faults, and we all have our shortcomings – God knows every part of us, but He may still ask us to do something we are not comfortable doing!

When God told Samuel to ask about the youngest son, his reaction was to sit and wait patiently because He knew what God wanted!
