2 Corinthians 4:6 For God, who said, “Let light shine out of darkness,” made his light shine in our hearts to give us the light of the knowledge of God’s glory displayed in the face of Christ.
It is not us who have created this light to shine for God, but Christ who has enabled us to receive the light.
This light should repel sin. It should reject secretive and scandalous actions by its very essence – the light of God shining in us.
God is our Creator and it is He who continues to make this light shine – as long as we do not cover it and extinguish it with our continued rebellious actions.
Let us share this light with others so, together, we may shine for God’s glory!
