Psalm 20:1 May the LORD answer you when you are in distress; may the name of the God of Jacob protect you.

We can read about the troubles Jesus faced on earth right from His birth through to His death; this seems to be a fact of life for man Christians… trouble will follow you!

We need to lift up our prayers for each other to God each and every day because it is the prayers which make a difference.

Simply doing nothing gets the same response, nothing. But lifting each other up in prayers will get results – answers to your prayers for each other!

Isaiah 40:20 Whoever is too impoverished for such a contribution Chooses a tree that will not rot; He seeks for himself a skilful workman To prepare a carved image that will not totter.

Just because you don’t have the money to get what you want or you don’t have enough to pay your bills on time, does not mean you use what little you have to break rules.

God continues to watch over us and wants to help us in every spot of bother we get into; but doing it yourself and not giving God a chance to help you will not work.

You may come out with something that looks nice but if God is not in it then what use is it in the end?

Allow God to work in your life; give Him time!

Isaiah 40:19 The workman melds an image, The goldsmith overspreads it with gold, And the silversmith casts silver chains.

What do you do, or what do you wish to do for a living; what will earn you the money so you can live?

Are you willing to break the rules to make money, or do you continue to try and do what is right even for money?

Money is a very strong driver in our lives and one which can often lead us astray; don’t be tempted to go off and do things your own way just so you can earn a bit more.

The money will not come with you to heaven and God takes no regard of it!

Isaiah 40:18 To whom then will you liken God? Or what likeness will you compare to Him?

What or who is God to you? How do you look at Him? How would you describe Him?

Far too often we look at the physical things in life, because that is what we see and what we can relate to.

God is so much more than we can describe in physical terms; getting to grips with who God is and what He does in your life will help you to understand Him a little more.

Don’t hold back just because you cannot see!
