Isaiah 26:4 Trust in the Lord forever, for in YAH, the Lord, is everlasting strength.

Why should we trust in God and in Him alone? Because He is God and He will always be God.

He is our creator and He is our maintainer. We may break many things but God continues to try and lead us in the right direction.

We learn that strength comes from exercise and determination. We learn that strength comes after hard work.

God tries to show us strength comes from Him and that strength is everlasting. Trust. Faith.

Exodus 20:3 You shall have no other gods before Me.

If you knew you were in charge of a business or some other group of people, would you want them to go to someone else to ask for guidance and help?

God created us all and knows exactly how we tick. Why should we even think about going anywhere else other than back to Him to ask for help and guidance?

But so many people do go to just about anything else other than God when it comes time to seek support!

Don’t look outside. Look to the Creator!

Isaiah 42:8 I am the Lord, that is My name; and My glory I will not give to another, nor My praise to carved images.

Thank goodness there is only one God we worship! Thank goodness we don’t have to remember hundreds of gods and what they claim to do!

God alone is all powerful and God alone is the one we need to worship with pride.

He will not share His glory with anybody else or anything else because there is simply nothing that can reach the heights He does!

Be very wary of the things we hold up as more important than God! There is nothing!

Psalm 83:18 That they may know that You, whose name alone is the Lord, are the Most High over all the earth.

The psalmist here finishes off his request with the reason why he is making the request – so that God may get the glory!

Do you make sure that God is the one getting the glory when you live your life? Are you making sure that what you do points back to God?

Do people see you as a servant of God rather than the person you are?

Give it to God!
