Psalm 73:26 My flesh and my heart fail; but God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever.

When you make God the centre of your attention and of your life, then you too begin to see just how important He is.

When we cling to the world we soon see just how far short of our needs the world can be as we walk into deep water; but when we walk with God we see just how much of a Saviour and protector He is!

God may not make us physically strong, He may not heal us of our physical ailments, but He will bring us spiritual health and strength for as long as we trust in Him.

Psalm 119:81 My soul faints for Your salvation, But I hope in Your word.

Waiting for a long time for someone to do something they said would be done always makes us begin to wonder whether they will keep their word.

Jesus made His promises a very long time ago and many people have given up waiting because the world traps them with greed.

Let us not grow weary just because time passes us by; instead let us grow stronger by reading those promises and remembering them each day.

Reading the bible daily will help us to remember those promises and our faith will grow stronger.

Psalm 119:49 Remember the word to Your servant, Upon which You have caused me to hope.

God made promises and as we continue to unravel them we see how so many have already come true and already give us proof.

Our hope should be built up stronger each day because we are able to see the promises come true; those promises which gave us hope and are now proof.

Now take each of the promises still waiting – let them be your sure hope for what is to come with Christ!

Psalm 119:42 So shall I have an answer for him who reproaches me, For I trust in Your word.

We will be blamed for things, we will be accused of things and we will be mocked – just because we say we follow Christ.

How are you going to answer people when they mock, accuse and blame? We need to know what Christ has shown people over the years. We need to know what God has taught man beforehand.

Reading and digesting God’s Word, our bibles, means we will have a better understanding of how God wants us to answer people when we come up against them.
