2 Corinthians 4:8 We are hard-pressed on every side, yet not crushed; we are perplexed, but not in despair;

No matter where we go in this world we will always have to face some sort of trouble and strife. This is all man’s doing and not God’s doing.

Every hour we should expect some sort of tribulation or struggle because the more that we walk with Christ the more that the evil one is going to try and trip us up or distract us.

It does not matter how much He throws at us because we remain firm in the knowledge that we are in God’s own hands and that nothing Satan can do will destroy anything other than our worldly possessions.

1 Corinthians 13:4 Love suffers long and is kind; love does not envy; love does not parade itself, is not puffed up;

One of the things we get to learn when we walk with God is that His love for us not only knows no bounds but is so very special in all its ways.

If we go around boasting of our love for others then we may well be more proud of our love than our love is strong! We may well not be in love as much as we think we are!

I have learned the hard way that love should be without question and without limit, just as Christ’s love for us is total and pure. We need to make sure our love is pure before we pursue a relationship!

Isaiah 41:10 Fear not, for I am with you; Be not dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, Yes, I will help you, I will uphold you with My righteous right hand.

It is not the fact that God is everywhere that should be the encouraging thought here but the fact that God is with us; in a very special and personal way, God is with us to guide and keep us.

The Lord has made things the way they are. Man has corrupted so much and we get down because we think everything is falling apart. Not so! We are breaking things, but God continues to maintain things.

God strengthens us and keeps us so we can bear the sorrows that we have caused in our own lives. He is almighty, trust Him!

Matthew 28:20 teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” Amen.

I like the way that Matthew ended his epistle with these words that Christ had told them; to go out into all the nations and teach people about Jesus.

It is not how much we know that should dictate if we go out and teach people. It is the fact that Jesus has asked us to do this. If we don’t know anything other than how Jesus saved us then let us tell others of that single fact.

Give everyone else the same chance as you have had to know Jesus Christ otherwise you are excluding them from getting to know your Saviour too.
